The Corner I Waited To See Her

From the corner I longed
To see her blessed face
But the "goodbye" text
Was a punch in the gut
early that morning

Nerves froze like ice.
Emotionally paralyzed
My mind couldn't think.
It couldn't comprehend-
What went wrong
Was it a fault of mine?
No it couldn't be!

Everything was perfect
Or did it just seem perfect?

I was numb
My head my heart my toes
Isolation and darkness became my friends
Depression was invited too
Life was paralytic
Where prayers seemed futile
And time teased my hopes

It was a Sunday
I went to church, her church
gathered courage and puffed my chest
I put a "brave-man" mask

Inside I was a melting ice cream
My heart beat -
To the rhythm of the drum
Waited an eternity
On my bike,
In the corner,
Covering my "brave-man" mask
With a pitch black helmet

As she came out
I started in her direction
But soon I knew
She'd come around
And all she needed was time
Just the way I needed
For as time teases, time also heals

Lest should it ever happen again-
This forbidden departure
Of a bond of true friendship,
Know that I will long for you,
Wait for you-
A thousand times over.

The Life Without Jo

I missed her to my depths, once.
Never thought that I may find her again
I took 8 years to find my lost treasure.

When she disappeared
I was lost again!
I filled myself with hopes to the day I see her again..
She was a visible angel and a God mother who rebirth'd my poor soul...

Jo, was a young pretty girl
Elder than me.
She was a girl with a good nature..
She was a girl with good vision..
She was a girl whose love is infinite to everyone..
She was a girl with no enemies
but,
She was not a girl of my life,
She is the only women in my life..

I hurt when she doubts me
But she promises that she never leaves me
That's the kind of love which she always has for me..
I admire all her inner beauty, clean in heart and grit..

She believes in Jesus but
I believe in my Jo.
At the end all I can say is,
Nobody can love Jo as much as I do.

When the time asks me for the last wish..
I just take my last breathe by sleeping on her lap.
To See her in those last minutes of my life..
To Feel her tears on my face

Well, what can I say
I'm blessed to have her in my life;
The life without Jo
Is a life without 'Me'

The Stolen Souvenir

Yes! It was a devastated day
The reason?
It was the three maids.

Her priced possession,
The sacred Ring
Was stolen
By ruthless maids.

Well, it was easy for her
To pardon them,
She has the kindest heart,
But what about me?
I felt a sense of loss,
The ring that belonged
On those beautiful finger of her’s
Was taken away.
Maybe the ring is gone
Maybe I will never see it again
But my love for her
Is constant
Is unconditional
Is immortal
I might never forgive
Those culprits
But I am thankful to God
That they can never
Steal her heart
And her love..

PROMISE

Promise! The word itself has its own beauty and an emotional touch between human to human beings. The word I used beauty in it, which is crippling from most of the people. The word promise has its own emotion, belief, morality, commitment and much as we use to it. My question is why most of the people are failing to keep up the word (promise) which leads to severe disappointments among them.

Some says “Promise is meant to be broken”
Some says “it’s just a word said with someone; the real promise is to prove those words”
Some says “it depends on the statement by two peoples”
Some says “it’s a bond between two emotional minds”
Some says “promise is nothing but Trust”
Some says “it is very easy to make and hard to keep”
Some says “it’s a nude thing which is covered by clothes”
Some says “they have no answer or an idea about that”
(Very honest opinions)

I would like to elucidate that the word ‘Promise’ has its own strength and weakness where we are failing to find. Promise is such a wonderful thing where every human being has to be adopted to be a Responsible person. There are many great warriors and epic stories which are completely based on the emotion ‘Promise’.

Now we are living in the world where promise means nothing we are finding everything in a messed up way due to absence of this emotion ‘Promise’. Promise is completely getting depleted.

Hence this is what promise is, in this present generation.
I wish ‘Promise’ should get rebirth in the same old form.

P.S- see the world in the new way with old emotions.
P.S-2: never underestimate any emotions in order to live a balance and responsible life.

The Pray

Dear prayer
let me stop
praying
Until I hear
your call
this breath without you
may fleetly fall..

Today,
Sky seems to blue
but I could'nt hear
my heart
without your clue.

Years and years crosses
Hours to hours passes
minute to minute tosses,
But without you
I failed to continue
my life process

Let me sleep
in deep
to see you at sky!
Oh dear readers
its time to say
I fly,
High
bye-bye

The Counting Days

Let me count everyday
Yes I even counted every single second for you..

I missed every step of my life without you.. (sadly)

There are many lovable people in my life but you remain special (grateful)

Because you showed the way of building the world of  love in everyone's heart (magically)

One day if I can't build a house I'll build a legacy of love for sure (willingly)

Thanks for bringing 'the lantern' to my dark life (thankful)

Let me see you by counting days.........(hope)
Before the time arrives of closing face

THE JOURNEY' from 50ps to 500Rs

At this phase in my life I feel I have learnt an important lesson that I hoped to learn- the value of money. I believe life is a great teacher. When I was 20, I earned 500 bucks through hard work and dedication; The feeling is different when we earn it, and when we receive it from others; and the feeling of being independent and to also to be able to support my family somewhere somehow. For me, this achievement is like a milestone in my life.
I am an undergraduate, still making my way through the social ladder. I tried working in different work set-ups but never completely satisfied. The sad plight in India is that you need a minimum undergrad degree to work in well established companies. Working while studying is rarely encouraged here. No sooner did I have an insight than did the thought of establishing a small film production of my own, occur to me, one day. Today, I keep this as my success dream, the ray of hope I want to achieve and I know I will achieve it, one day. I am proud to express that my source of inspiration comes from a man who is an epitome of hard work and dedication, who lives a life of simplicity, who faces the storms of life with a certain, unexplainable clam. Overall he is a person who has embraced success and hardships that life had to offer with humility, that I specially find laudable. This man is none other than my DAD . I still remember those times when he would give us 50 Paisa to my brother and me as our pocket money. That 50 Paisa felt like thousands of rupees to us! Maybe that was the onset of the lesson on the value of money.

P.S: People who called me a “loser” are still being dependent, not valuing the value of money.
So my humble request is: don't just call people names for the heck of it! You never know what they are going through or what their future might turn out to be.
The real loser is one who does not dream - ‘The Dream of Success’ and the thirst to achieve it with a pinch of the morals of life.

The Converging Eyes

                     The Converging Eyes

Day by day the intensity grows
Towards those eyes;
I dream all the time,
Those eyes reading my poem.
There is a joy in the Eyes
As they Converge with mine
Reading my thoughts.

The engaging eyes ask; "why Me?
Is it so inspiring?
'Yes' answered 'I"
It's unique to me;
I never tire writing about your eyes.
Did a glee of thankfulness in those eyes?

I continued to traverse in the wonderland
Of those enticing eyes,
As I roamed, those magical eyes hid other pictures, I see those attractive eyes,
Even when my eyes are closed.
In my sleep they make me smile.

Well!

My lucky number is 5
'E' the fifth in alphabet series
Denotes to me, those Enticing eyes.
The poem may end here
But description flows...........

The Enticing eyes

Those eyes stirred my feelings,
I travelled into the wonderland;
I smiled.
The large eyes that hide her face,
Snatched my sleep; in pensive mood,
Those eyes console me, even,
As I slide slowly, into the land of beautiful thoughts.

My happiness, I realize lies in those eyes.
I feel unlucky; those eyes are not near me.
The day I miss the college,
I miss the beauty of life.
I ponder about this attraction; not unusual
In my age when there are thousands around.
I wish those eyes had wings to fly to me!
Words fail to describe those marvelous eyes
That drags me to an imaginary land.
They need no comparison;
They are one and only in this beautiful world.
Those eyes distract me.
I know I'm 20, remove that zero
And that 2 denotes those two magical eyes
That is now mine.
They take me to that wonderland!!
